Astronomy 221 - Fall 2007
OBSERVING THE NIGHT SKY

Astronomy 221 is a laboratory for academic students with interest in "hands-on" astronomy. Students will learn how to set up and use small telescopes and experience the excitement of observing various types of astronomical objects. It is primarily a non-mathematical laboratory (no calculus or advanced computer skills required) intended for students who have previously had Astr 100 or 201 or 202 (or permission of the instructor). SE students can take the lab but the more rigorous Astr 230 lab is better suited for their skills.
