These come from the problems at the end of Chapters 19 & 20 in the textbook.  They are listed below and scanned questions are available here.

 9-1: Quantitative Problem #47 of Chap. 19: Mass of the Milky Way's Halo

 9-2: Quantitative Problem #54 of Chap. 19: The Speed of Supernova Debris

 9-3: Quantitative Problem #45 of Chap. 20: Distances to Star Clusters

 9-4: Quantitative Problem #46 of Chap. 20: Cepheids in M100

 If you don't turn in your solutions during class, turn it in to Dr. Dufour at his office in person or by putting it in the IN ENVELOPE next to his door, or slide it under his door….Rm. 346 HBH!

Note also Quiz 9 is posted (two sets of questions) on MasteringAstronomy.com and is due by 11pm Tuesday 11/20.

Times for observing project observing at RUCO will be announced in class and posted on the class website as time and weather permits.
